Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device, encrypted. TallyRun has no servers and works fully offline. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I back up or move my data?
Go to You › Export sales as CSV to save or share your sales. Keep a copy somewhere safe — because data lives only on your device, it isn't automatically backed up to the cloud.
I deleted the app / changed phones and lost my data.
Local data is removed when the app is uninstalled. Use the CSV export regularly to keep your own backup. Cross-device sync is on our roadmap.
How do I turn on Face ID lock?
You › Lock with Face ID. If it asks for your passcode instead of scanning, that only happens in test builds — the App Store version uses Face ID.
How do I change my currency or country?
You › Region & currency. Prices update across the app instantly.
How do I get low-stock reminders?
Set a low-stock level when adding an item, and turn on alerts in You › Notifications.
How do I delete all my data?
You › Erase all data permanently removes everything from your device.
Does TallyRun need an account or internet?
No account, no sign-up, no internet required. Just open it and start.
